Erewash needs to more than double its housing rates, and our proposals to build up to 100 homes on this brown field site here will help the council protect other greenfield sites in Erewash.
Our proposals will also include a mixture of affordable homes, the exact type of which will need to be agreed, but could be reserved for existing residents, or people looking to move back to Breaston.
The new residents will be integrated into the community with foot and cycle paths linking the new homes to Breaston and the fields surrounding the village.
The new residents will support local businesses and community centres, making a positive contribution to Breaston.
The development will also bring jobs for construction workers, using locally based construction workers where possible.
What do you think of our plans to help new residents integrate into the community? How can we do this better? Let us know by leaving your feedback.
